If you live in the Spalding area and you would like to become a radio ham or want to work your way further up the scale then visit: http://www.sdars.org.uk The three courses are tutored by John Hill, G4NBR. John Has a proven track record and has been teaching since 1978, teaching the "old" City and Guilds, and now the RSGB three tier system. The courses are run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings: John tries to make Monday foundation night, Tuesday Intermediate and Wednesday for the advanced licence. My personnal opinion is that John is a very good teacher, if your not quite sure on something he goes back and explains it again in very easy understanding ways, His skills of teaching has passed many through their courses wheather your a Novice, Intermediate or going for your Advanced licence.
